Japanese traditional food -MISO(2)

MISO is an essential ingredient for the Japanese(also Korea and China). But it is not well known in other country?Only connoisseurs of Japanese cuisine know much about it. But many people are familiar with soy sauce and soy milk these days. So, products made from soybeans are becoming very popular.So, if you explain that MISO is made from soybeans, they might feel closer to MISO.


MISO is used not only in MISO soup but also in many very different dishes. It's a really versatile ingredient. and it also goes well with French cuisine too.


My another favor MISO dish "MOROKYU", cucumber with MISO. It goes very well with beer.
