Not only Japanese but also foreigners like to buy and wear some kind of kimono, especially women like to have a photo taken wearing a kimono, because the image of kimono really represents Japanese culture.　 And there are various designs of KIMONO, I will show you some.
this a FURISODE, a long-sleeved KIMONO. the girl who before marriage can wear it. you can see many of them at the ADULT DAY( the first Sunday of January). after marriage the women should wear KOMON, and so on. well, most design of the KIMONO is the motifs feature seasonal birds, trees and flowers.
